The best winter essentials to help you better the cold spell

Winter is here, and with it comes a few things. Christmas songs in every shop you enter and more festive plans than you can shake your diary at, among them. The big chill, too, is a pre-requisite of winter, and by now you've probably (definitely) traded in your summer garb and are layering up. You've also probably started doing your Christmas shopping.

Peak winter gear arrives in the form of a beanie. But this isn't just any beanie. This is an Elder statesman beanie, made from 100 per cent cashmere (dry clean only!) to keep your head as warm as possible, and to go easy on your hair. The pop of colour will be a welcome sight on any dreary street this winter.

Built to last is inbuilt to the Tom Ford ethos. This belt has been crafted in Italy from croc-effect patent-leather, with a design that will stand the test of time and trends, as well as actually just withstand wear and tear. It comes with a subtle TF stamp and mark of luxury on the buckle.

Every guy needs a pair of white trainers. But not every guy knows about Berluti's white trainers, which are some of the best out there.
